Looking for THE SCORM Resource?
Yesterday I attended a SCORM webinar provided by Advance Distributed Learning (ADL). If you do not know the ADL, they are a part of the U.S. Department of Defense and are the producers of SCORM. At the conclusion of the webinar they gave a tour of some of the available resources on their site. These include SCORM documentation, past webinar slides, and content examples, including the files from a Flash example. which you will find listed as “Plug-In Technologies Content Example.” They also provide a test suite. FYI: All of the above are free to download.
If you are working with SCORM on any level, ADLnet.gov is a great “go-to” resource. For additional SCORM resources, I have collected more at http://delicious.com/MinuteBio/scorm

I try to collect good SCORM videos I find into my YouTube SCORM playlist. Right now, it’s kind of heavy on our own videos, so would love suggestions for new stuff to add if anyone has them. - http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=3B2CB7FA7FD426A7

hello, do you know of any s/w that takes jingpro/youtube videos and converts them to SCORM videos?
I want to post my videos and they require this format.

My approach would be to either import the video, or embed the YouTube video, into an e-learning authoring tool and publish it as SCORM.
You could also embed the video in Adobe Dreamweaver and use Manifest Maker to make it SCORM compliant. FYI: If you have Dreamweaver you can get Manifest Maker as an extension through Adobe.
Using these approaches will create the files needed, including a SCORM manifest that send the appropriate data to an LMS from the pages containing the video.
